Telly Addicts

Telly Addicts is a DVD game for one or two people/teams. It is based on a UK television series that ran from 1985 to 1998 on BBC1. The programme was hosted by Noel Edmonds who also presents this game.

This game has six rounds;

• Round One "Screen Test": In this round the player(s) are shown six TV screens each of which leads to a question. Typically the player(s) are shown a picture and an associated question with three multiple choice questions. In a single player game three questions are selected by the player, in the two player game the players take turns answering three questions each. Questions in this round are worth one point each.
• Round Two "Guess The Year": Here each player in turn is shown a picture or video and is asked a date related question such as "What year was this programme first shown?", this question is worth two points. They are then asked two follow up questions which are worth one point each.
• Round Three "On The Box": Here the player(s) are asked to identify either a TV personality or the character they are playing. As with the previous round the players are asked one set of questions each, the first question is worth two points and the two follow up questions are worth one point each.
• Round Four "Odd One Out": In this round the players have one question each. They are shown a picture with, typically, four people in it and they are asked to spot the odd one out. If they answer correctly they receive three points, but if the player does not know they can take up to two clues with the point value of the question decreasing for each clue taken.
• Round Five "Classic Clips": Again the players are asked one set of three questions each. Each set starts with a video clip and the first question is usually observational such as "Where did the actress wear her sash, right, left, centre?"
• Round Six "Spotlight": Each player is asked three random questions and has fifteen seconds to answer each

At the end of round two and all rounds that follow it Noel shows the players' scores. When the whole game has been played Noel introduces a competition in which players text their answer for a chance to win a home cinema system.
