Calculation Solitaire
Description
Calculation Solitaire is a single player, shareware, card game that is played with a single deck of cards using the mouse.
The Ace, two, three and four of spades are taken from the deck and are used as the foundations on which other cards are placed, the remainder of deck is placed face down. Cards are selected one at a time from the top of the deck and turned over, and played onto the foundations according to the following rules;* In foundation pile one, headed by the Ace of Spaces, the cards ascend in a standard sequence of - A 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 J Q K
- In foundation pile two, headed by the deuce of Spaces, the cards ascend in a sequence of two’s - 2 4 6 8 10 Q A 3 5 7 9 J K
- In the third pile, foundation three headed by the Three of Spaces, the sequence ascends in threes - 3 6 9 Q 2 5 8 J A 4 7 10 K
- Finally in foundation pile four, headed by the Four of Spaces, the sequence ascends in fours, as shown here - 4 8 Q 3 7 J 2 6 10 A 5 9 K
Naturally there will be many times when the card turned over will not fit into the current sequences so there are four or six, depending on the difficulty level, waste piles for that purpose.
