At any rate, playing the game is much less confusing than reading about it. And you should play it. Thanks to its unlicensed nature,Tiles of Fate is of the unsung puzzle gems of the NES library. Don’t feel bad about downloading it. Its existence was never legal in the first place.

This game is rare, cheap, and very fun. Should suit both collectors and gamers alike.
It’s not an unfun experience, but the challenge only comes from deciphering the different symbols from one another, and figuring out which pairs of available matching symbols to eliminate, since clearing the wrong one may create an impasse, preventing more matches unless a power-up is available to use. It’s not terribly deep, but an acceptable, no-frills puzzle jaunt.
If you've got sharp, quick eyes, and you're tired of all of the puzzle games wherein you piece together falling blocks, Tiles of Fate may be just the ticket. It's not a great game by any stretch, but it's not a bad one, either.
