While both Actua Soccer 3 and FIFA 99 distributors were notified to remove the games from store shelves due to unlicensed use of Portuguese club/player data, Player Manager 98/99 included the proper license from FutePro.
However, despite the license, it was a massive flop in a market completely dominated by Championship Manager 97/98.
