Game Groups > Protagonist: Royalty

Games where the player-controlled main character or protagonist is directly of royal descent, a noble-blood or of other applicable statuses by birth (bloodline or otherwise family-given status). This includes your typical princesses and princes, and kings and queens. Additionally, any fictional fantasy or science fiction equivalent royalty status also counts.

If the protagonist loses their royalty status during the game due to exile, imprisonment, coup d'etat or any other reason, they are still applicable to this group. Protagonists with amnesia or otherwise not knowing of their royalty status also count as long as the status is revealed at some point in the game.

Limitations

• Given honorable titles such as knighthoods or other nobility do not count, unless it's made clear that they are also of royal descent.
• If the game has multiple controllable main characters, at least one of the main protagonists has to be royalty. For example, Odin Sphere.
