Mr. Pover joined Turbine in October of 1999 and serves as the Company's Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Pover brings more than 15 years of financial and management experience in both the software and entertainment industry. Before joining Turbine, Mr. Pover co-founded and was Executive Vice President and CFO of a 3-D prototype and virtual reality software technology developer. Before that, Mr. Pover was at Vidco International and Associates, Inc. where he served in a number of roles, including CFO and General Manager, and was responsible for the direct-to-retail distribution of over 100 video and game retail releases. As General Manager, Mr. Pover developed and implemented direct-to-retail distribution and fulfillment programs for Fox, Disney, Universal, Paramount, Warner Brothers, DreamWorks SKG and Acclaim Entertainment. Mr. Pover was instrumental in the growth of Vidco which resulted in its acquisition by Deluxe, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Rank Group Plc.

Prior to Vidco, Mr. Pover was a partner at Porvin, Tobes & Burnstein, PC, a full service public accounting firm. Mr. Pover holds a M.S. in Management from Walsh College and a B.S. in Professional Accounting from the University of Michigan. He is also a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the A.I.C.P.A. and M.A.C.P.A.
