A native of Champaign, IL, Eric has been playing games since he could pick up a controller, and creating them almost as long. Most projects were solo efforts until he helped co-found Spartasoft at Michigan State University. The group is devoted to teaching students how to create games and get into the industry. He started full-time work for Volition as soon as he graduated in 2002. In 2009 he is a senior programmer at the company.
