Henrik is currently the Head of Game Direction at Paradox Development Studio. Since joining the company in 2001, he has worked on most games - and a great many expansions - released by the studio in one capacity or another.

He is best known for being Lead Designer on Crusader Kings II and Stellaris, but he also wrote the design for the original Hearts of Iron and co-designed Crusader Kings together with Joakim Bergqwist. Henrik has contributed to the design of most other games released by the studio and has worked as a programmer, project lead, game writer and scripter on various occasions.

He has a particular interest in the fields of emergent gameplay and procedural storytelling and has held talks on these subjects at the GDC.
