Britt started working on video games in 1995 where he was the arranger on MIDI transcriptions for Atari Jaguar of the classical soundtrack of Return Fire II (never released). After joining WaveQuest, a developer of SNES, Genesis, and PC games, Britt moved to SEGA, where he acted as a technical evangelist for the HEAT.NET game network. While at SEGA, Britt was involved in building the DreamCast Network, SegaNET, and laying the foundation for the SNAP (the Sega community platform). Most recently, Britt was principally responsible for the technical architecture of Disney's DGamer Gaming Community for kids (available on all Disney Nintendo DS titles since 2008).
