Biography edit · view history
At age seventeen, Ian Gilman got his first programming gig, creating the computer game Ishido. That led to more development jobs, including Heaven & Earth. Also, wanting to prove he wasn't just a programmer, he landed a gig doing the graphics and animations for the Macintosh arcade game Maelstrom.
In 1995, he joined MetaCreations, working on Internet-based multi-player games, most notably MetaSquares (an original strategy board game designed by Scott Kim).
Since then he's worked mostly on non-game projects, with the notable exception of Clockwork Goldfish, a web-based adaptation of the puzzles from Heaven & Earth.
