Gano Haine is a leader in interactive media with over twenty years experience in games and digital entertainment. As principal of The ONAG Group, she offers expertise in design and production to start ups focused on new media, particularly mobile and virtual world platforms. She was a Co-Founder and VP of Product Development for LimeLife, Inc, the only mobile publisher targeting women and girls. At LimeLife Gano worked directly with intellectual property stakeholders to create mobile franchise extensions. She was instrumental in achieving partnerships with media entities such as Time-Warner, Hallmark, NBC Universal, Bravo TV New Media, and Play First. Previously, Gano co-founded and served as President/CEO of Stunt Puppy Entertainment, Inc., a leading provider of CD-ROM games for children. Under her leadership, Stunt Puppy had four Number 1 ranking titles with such licensors as Mattel, Disney/Buena Vista Games, Atari/Infogrames and Leapfrog Toys. Gano has held design or producer positions at leading video game publishers, among them Electronic Arts, Sierra On-line, and The ImagiNation Network.
Gano is a dedicated gamer and has spent much leisure time fostering the birth of online games as one of the original adventure game sysops for Compuserve. She continues to play a variety of online games across numerous servers and communities. She also assists young women in the game industry by serving on the steering committee of Women in Games International (WIGI.
Gano has a Bachelor of Arts from Duke University, graduating magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. She received a Master's in Theatre and Drama from The University of Wisconsin, where she was Director of the Children's Theater Workshop. She also completed doctoral studies at Northwestern University's School of Speech.
