Randy Polliard has been a storyteller, published cartoonist and K-12 educator in one form or another for three decades. As a game industry Art Director, he has supervised art and animation for numerous franchise CD-ROM titles, including Magic School Bus, Rugrats and Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.

After moving to Seattle, WA, he began drawing a weekly sports editorial cartoon for the Seattle Times newspaper, a freelance cartooning gig he has held for over 20 years, despite moving back to his hometown of Denver, Colorado in 2002. Randy has also been a featured cartoonist for MacHome magazine, and created an interactive cartoon for ESPN.com that ran for over two years.

Randy is developing multiple graphic novel projects for both emerging and middle grade readers. He is an active member of the Society for Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) and Kids Comics Unite. Randy lives in Denver, Colorado with his wife, son and Bernese Mountain Dog.
