Biography edit · view history
David R. Darrow began working with FTL games in 1985, when he was asked to design create the illustration for the cover of FTL's first game "SUNDOG." After that, three more illustrations were commissioned over the next few years for "OIDS," "RPV" (A game that was never completed, though thousands of product cartons were printed and ready to go), and finally the famous Dungeon Master, and its title art.
David studied at Art Center College of Design, In Pasadena, CA. He worked as a freelance illustrator in San Diego, CA through 1989, worked a few years in Los Angeles as a film promotion artist, working on such films as Back to the Future III, Terminator 2, Havana, Jurassic Park, and many others.
He is now a full-time Fine Artist, showing in several galleries, and his paintings are in the homes of collectors all over the world. David resides in Carlsbad, CA with his wife Teresa.
