Description
Spider-Man is a side-scrolling action game inspired by the animated Spider-Man television series. Players take on the role of Spider-Man, who uses his usual spider abilities to fight off the bad guys: web-spinning, kicking, and punching.
The story is about three of Spider-Man enemies escaping from prison, namely Dr. Octopus, The Green Goblin and Smythe, and it is Spider-Man's job to find them and "kick their butts" as the intro states. During the levels Spider-Man will also encounter a lot of robots, in different shapes and sizes.
