Description

You play as Miku Hinasaki, a young girl with a strange sixth sense. Your brother, Mafuyu, and his mentor, Junsei Takamine, went to investigate a mansion that once was inhabited by a powerful landowner who had absolute control over the area. Unfortunately, they never returned from their investigation.

As Miku, you enter the mansion and try to find your brother and his mentor. Armed with only an antique camera your deceased mother gave you, you venture inside.

While inside the mansion, you will encounter ghosts and other spiritual apparitions. In order to overcome these ghouls and to survive, you must use your camera, which holds some sort of magical power, to capture these ghosts on film, thereby trapping them forever.

Miku must successfully navigate the mansion, find her brother, and escape, all the while capturing the ghosts on film before they manage to kill you.

Fatal Frame is a survival horror game, and is based on a true story.
