Overview edit · view history
Treasure debuted with Gunstar Heroes (1993). They have since produced numerous action games, such as Alien Soldier, Radiant Silvergun, Guardian Heroes, Bangai-O!, Sin & Punishment, and Ikaruga. They have also produced games based on popular manga licenses such as Yu Yu Hakusho and Bleach, as well entries in the Silpheed and Wario franchises.
Treasure was established on June 19, 1992 by former Konami programmer Masato Maegawa and a group of other Konami refugees unhappy with that company's trend of producing numerous sequels. Most of the original staff still work at Treasure today, and their influence can be felt in the elements that make many of the company's works so distinct. They are based in the Nakano ward of Tokyo, Japan.
