Mimimi Games (name and logo referring to their motto "Making games and crying about it") was an independent development studio from Munich, Germany, founded in October 2008.
After a series of casual titles like Grounded, daWindci, The Last Tinker: City of Colors, Janosch: The Trip to Panama and others, the company became best known for its three real-time tactics games: Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun, Desperados III and Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew.
Immediately after shipping Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew on 29 August 2023, the company announced that it would close in the coming months due to financial problems and their production values no longer being sustainable. They would regardless release the game's DLC (Yuki's Wish and Zagan's Ritual), and after pushing the custom scenario support update on 14 December 2023, the company would gradually reduce its team list on the official website until nobody was left by January 2024. They would regardless be nominated for Shadow Gambit and as a studio by multiple award lists in 2023 and 2024.
