Athena Co., Ltd. (株式会社アテナ) was a Shinjuku, Tokyo based developer and publisher established in July 1987 by Sakae Nakamura, who had previously worked at Taito. The company was best known for their Dezaemon shooting game construction sets.

Several staff, including Noriyuki Takasaki, Tsutomu Tabata, and Kouichi Ishibashi left the company in 1995 to establish Warashi. Athena declared bankruptcy in December 2013.
