Sigil Games Online, Inc. was a game studio dedicated to the development of massively multiplayer games. Formed in January 2002 by Brad McQuaid and Jeff Butler, both key figures in the development of the massively multiplayer runaway hit EverQuest, Sigil Games developed the MMORPG Vanguard: Saga of Heroes, released in January 2006. By May 2007, the company's assets were acquired by Sony Online Entertainment, where the game was further supported.
