MBL Research, Inc was a distributed game development studio started by Mark Lesser, creator of NHL '94. MBL programmers and artists worked remotely from all over New England. Contracted by Electronic Arts and Maxis, MBL created several popular sports titles during the nineties before Lesser finally retired in 2000.
