Overview edit · view history

Wahoo Studios is an independent development group based in Orem, Utah (USA). It was founded in 2001 and is currently led by president Steve Taylor. Taylor and some other initial employees previously worked at Saffire Corporation and left to establish Wahoo.

The studio initially operated as consultants for external titles, such as 007: Nightfire for Electronic Arts. With the release of the Xbox 360 console the company started original development for the platform's XBLA service. In September 2004 NinjaBee was founded as a division for development with internal capital.

Next to the many Xbox Live Arcade games, the company was also involved with the development of the MMORPG SAGA. In August 2007 however it was announced that Silverlode Interactive and Saga Games, LLC split from Wahoo Studios to finish the project by themselves.
