Thalion Software was a German computer game developing company that primarily focused on games for Amiga and Atari ST. It was founded in October 1988 in Gütersloh by Erik Simon and Holger Flöttmann. The company went out of business in 1994.

Company folded. They had just completed the beat 'em up X-Fighter, which was never released even though it was reviewed by at least one Amiga magazine. Hopes of a final game in the Amberstar series were extinguished as a result.

After splitting up from the previous distributor Grandslam Entertainments in early 1990, Thalion had no UK distribution for some time (with the United Kingdom being one of the most important market for Atari ST/Amiga games at the time). Later in 1990 Active took the distribution.
As the international boxes were already produced with Grandslam naming on them, these were then shipped with manually painted over the naming and the Active name not added the affected boxes and disks (like from the games Atomix and Dragonflight, see scans present on Mobygames).
