The well-known MobyGames contributor and approver chirinea, who is also a specialist in obscure Brazilian console games, has become the 23rd person in the history of the site to have collected 10000 points. He is the second Brazilian (and generally South American) contributor after Evil Ryu to have attained this honorable position.

Hehe... who needs a life when he's got 10,000 MobyPoints? Congratulations, old chap!

Now keep adding all those Brazilian bootleg - er, I mean, officially licensed games. :p

It is, but it's Spanish, you should say something nice in Portuguese to chirinea :)

Many congratulations, Chrinéa. The next 10 000 will be much easier.

(I hope babelfish.altavista.com translated that right)

Thanks again you all! And you're all very good Portuguese writers! The only thing is that "felicitações" isn't that common as a compliment, (I understand it as a direct translation of congratulations, which could also be translated as congratuações), at least here in Brazil. Here, it is more common to say "parabéns". I don't know, Luís Silva can say if "felicitações" is more common in Portugal. =)

Congratulations, incidentally I thought "Chirinea-10000" was a product of some kind. Like the 2000 SUX from Robocop.

I think you're confusing ED-209 with an R2-D2esque droid in Space Quest I. In any case, congrats chirinea.... I remember when I used to have dreams of so many points.... now I just hide in the alleyway, waiting to mug MobyUsers foolish enough to search for Mappyland and end up on "the wrong side of the site" so to speak.

No no, it's a car that was advertised in the movie during one of the newscast type scenes. I know my Robocop dammit!
