...currently not yet supported. I got this message on 2 rejected games on which i added Windows platform. When was this decided? I remember asking back in 2012 when Windows 8 would be added as a new platform and was told it would be included in Windows platform.

I think the idea was to make Windows RT a separate platform, with apps that work on that being listed there, but not sure it was actually "decided" in any way.

I've been waiting for windows 8 for years as well. I have started to forget all games I was supposed to contribute.

I'm working on it - should go live soon.

We discussed this on the approver forum and what we decided was to treat Windows Apps as one platform covering both Intel and ARM versions of Windows. The reason for that is 1) most games are compatible with both and 2) some games got separate ports for traditional Windows and the new Windows 8/10 and therefore we want to keep those separated and not try to cram Windows apps into the old Windows platform.

Some x86 games have been approved already (tracked by 'Distributed by Microsoft Corporation), I'll move those over when done. Windows 10 will most likely introduce Universal Apps (X1 / Win 10 / Windows Phone), so the Win 10 games would belong to the new platform we'll add.

Pardon my ignorance: do we use something like "distributed by Microsoft" like we do for Valve's Steam, Google Play etc.?

Why is your name given credit for adding these when I contributed Star Wars: Tiny Death Star, and Where's My Water? Please change it.

Because it is impossible to change a platform from one (Windows) to another (Windows Apps) inside a single game submission. I submitted an empty additional Windows Apps platform and after it was approved I moved your Windows release info away to another the game and then back to the new and empty Windows Apps platform, thus preserving your points so none were lost. As you can see in the release info section.

By the way, I still have a new platform for Skulls of the Shogun escalated for that reason.

Was this the issue we had with the Win 8 version of A Dark Room as well?

Yes, feel free to submit it now.

Well, I added not only the release info but the platforms also so I should have "2 points for adding a new game" for each under my contributions for 2015 which I don't, but it's not a big deal.
