Orbox C

Orbox C is a sliding block puzzle game, where the goal is to slide the rectangle to the exit block. It is the sequel to Orbox B.

The player controls the Orbox, a flashing rectangle, using the cursor keys. The Orbox will slide in a direction until it hits another block. When the Orbox slides off screen the level is reset and the player must restart from the beginning.

The levels increase in difficulty and more gameplay elements are introduced as the player progresses. There are bomb blocks, when the player hits them the bomb count down from 9 to 0 and then blow up and disappear, the explosion is harmless to the player. Angled tiles deflect the moving Orbox by 90 degrees. Stars, collect them all as the goal of a level. Ice is fragile, it breaks on one touch, players must choose their path strategically when breaking the ice blocks. Teleporters will transport the Orbox to another portal with the same color. Gate blocks are two block with an opening in between them, if the Orbox rides through the gate it will close and merge into one block. The grow block, if the player rides over the grow block it will become solid. Sensors, touch every side of the sensor to activate it, an activated side will light up in green.

The missions can change per level. Normally the level mission is to find a way to the exit. The other missions are blow up all the bombs, collect all the stars, break all the ice and activate all the sensors. A level can have multiple missions at once, for example blow up all the bombs to unlock the exit and then go to the exit. The game also includes a level editor to create additional levels, and a built in feature to share and play user levels made by others players.
