Love Wish

The Good
The game is currently available on Steam for a very reasonable £0.79p. That makes it less that the price of a cup of coffee and it lasts much longer.

The artwork is brightly coloured and pleasing, more cute and titillating than erotic or crude. There is pleasing but generic music and the game mechanics work well offering a choice of screen size as well as full screen and windowed modes.
The Steam version has an optional patch to unlock the nude/adult content meaning it should be possible to play the game in vanilla mode so I guess it could be possible to play the base game at work - personally I would not take the chance.

Each image has five puzzles which get progressively harder from level one to level five. I did not notice any progression as I played through the gallery, i.e. level five of puzzle ten did not seem any harder than level five of puzzle two. Nor did I notice any patterns or repetition . All sixty puzzles seemed to be different which is a good thing.

The Bad
While some may object to the subject matter there's nothing really to dislike about this game. The voice acting seems to be limited to the occasional whimper and breathy panting that, after the first puzzle I did without.

The Bottom Line
In this game the player has a gallery of twelve images to work through. For each image there are five jigsaws of increasing complexity. The jigsaws are of a part of the full image and, when completed the full image is shown with the character wearing fewer and fewer clothes. When level five is completed she is naked and sort of animated - the sort of animation where the figure does not move but parts of the picture wobble about a bit.

The jigsaw pieces are not the interlocking kind, they are tiles mainly triangles and quadrilaterals with a few odd pieces to fill in the gaps. They do not lock together so the player cannot move multiple pieces as one unit, however when correctly placed they do lock into position.

So it's a well constructed, cheap game that will last around one to two hours or so.
It was OK, it was fun, it was mildly taxing and it occupied my time while winding down, drinking my coffee and having a late-evening snack. I played through all the puzzles in one go and at the end I didn't feel any sense of accomplishment or achievement, consequently I can't see me wanting to put it aside and play it again so I'll probably remove it from my Steam library very soon.
