Puzz 3D: Thomas Kinkade - Painter of Light: The Lamplight Manor

Puzz 3D: Thomas Kinkade - Painter of Light: The Lamplight Manor is a 3D puzzle game based on the art of the American painter Thomas Kinkade. The gameplay is split up in two phases: a construction phase and an exploration phase. The construction phase is the main puzzle where the player needs to construct a manor. This is first done in 2D by completing various small pieces. Three types of information are provided for help: a Chronometer, a Display Window and a Book. The player also has access to Snapshots, a reference tool providing various pieces of the completed manor with multiple viewing angles.

The Chronometer keeps track of the elapsed time and shows the remaining pieces to be assembled. The Display Window is used to access the Snapshots and to switch between views, for instance to access the overhead view to move to other pieces or sections on the main puzzle table. The Book contains various construction tips. The player's progress is also tracked through a Performance Graph with the number of completed 2D matches, the remaining pieces and the number of sections placed at the Construction Site.

Once all 2D sections have been completed and have been placed in the Transfer Tray, the puzzle is completed by moving in the construction view where the different Sections are dragged out and positioned on the Construction Table. There the final model is constructed in 3D. Once completed, the exploration phase can be started to investigate the manor and play different games.
