percussONE
Description official description
percussONE is a tile matching puzzle game. There are differently colored pieces on the grid and the player can switch two at the time. The goal is to match three or more of the same color together; then they disappear and reward points. New pieces constantly drop on the grid. However, in contrast to similar games they don't enter from the top of the screen but directly on a certain grid. By using their swapping power, the player can create stacks. These can be be flipped over, but too many disks on a single pile will instantly end the game.
After clearing more than four pieces at once, the player will enter a riff phase. During a limited time, clearing pieces will increase a score multiplier and matching the beat of the music will increase the reward even further. Successful riffing also gives star pieces which have special effects when cleared (this requires only two pieces instead of three). The effect depends on the color: gray (clears all pieces around them), black (shifts gravity on the board) or white (freezes time for 10 seconds). Depending on the chosen option, star pieces are either placed automatically or manually on the grid.
There are two game modes available: Endless Encore (standard mode as described above) and Jam Session (creating as many riffs on a full board within three minutes). During multiplayer, all players work the grid at the same time. The goal is always to earn as many points as possible.
