Spelunker

Spelunker is a text adventure in which the player explores a cave. The game appeared in Micro Magazine as a type-in game. As such all location descriptions aren't contained in the game itself, but instead can be read in the magazine. To avoid spoilers, ideally the game is played with two people, one serving as a story teller, using the magazine and the other using the text parser commands on the computer. The game features the obligatory inventory puzzles and finding and mapping a way through the cave, like other adventure games from its era. The cover of the magazine features an illustrated map that can guide players.
