Gothic Fiction: Dark Saga

Gothic Fiction: Dark Saga is a single-player adventure game with three difficulty settings.

The story concerns a mother and daughter who have moved to a new town. One of the first things they do is to go to the school to get the daughter enrolled. However, the school has been closed for over forty years because pupils disappeared and, shortly after their arrival, a powerful witch appears and claims the daughter as the final child she needs to summon a great demon. There then follows an adventure game with lots of locks with missing keys, possessed plants, ghosts of missing children and a fair assortment of puzzles.

Though this game is in the style of a hidden object game, and the back cover of the Black Lime release states that it is a hidden object game, there are no such puzzles at all.

The game is played with the mouse, it can be played in both full screen and windowed modes, it has an autosave feature and it has music, sound effects and voice acting.
