Description official description

Absolute Alchemical Potion is a visual novel and as such it is a single player, mouse controlled game with nine possible endings, four epilogues that uses a manual save function.

The story follows Celsia, a powerful alchemist with a dubious track record: 51 percent of her experiments have been a success and some of her failures have been catastrophic. As a result, the guild of mages banished her to a desert land. There she managed to create a new place to work and lives here with Glem, a golem she created from sand, and Raven, a demon she rescued and who is now bound to her as her familiar.

Despite being banished, Celsia still undertakes occasional projects for the mages in return for a reduction in her sentence; the latest project they have given her is the Absolute Alchemical Potion. The game starts when Celsia creates the potion but something goes wrong and her connection to the Earth, the source of all magical power, is lost. Almost as bad is the arrival of Gastalt, a mage and her former assistant, who has come from the ministry to verify the results of Celsia's work.

The three are trapped in the desert, two because they are bound to Celsia, and Gastalt for magical reasons, and they all must work together to help Celsia understand what went wrong and hopefully regain her power.

The game does not autosave progress on exit. At decision points the player can press the ESCAPE key to open up the manual save option so that alternate routes can be explored. The text speed can be altered and there is a SKIP option which speeds through large portions of the text, however there is no text log so it is not possible to backtrack through the story if a key point has been forgotten.
