Line 1

Moby ID: 36135

Description

Technologically, the Japanese have long had a reputation for efficient and stylish minimalist miniaturizing -- no matter the product, they can reduce it to its core elements and sell it back to you, streamlined and smaller. Line 1 appears to be what happens when you feed Tetris through that process.

As in its predecessor, the player is in charge of regulating the descent of varying collections of blocks, this time in an attempt to create stacks of five. Though the player has the option of accelerating the blocks' fall or just of dropping them outright, neither approach is required since with a gameplay field consisting of a single column, within every two or three block-falls, a total of five is achieved even independently of player input.
