Zork: A Troll's-Eye View
Description
Exploring the other side the coin, a game author boldly investigates the ecology of a Dungeon and puts the players in the shoes of those monsters who just stand around in caves, waiting for adventurers to fight them. In this case, the player controls the axe-wielding Troll from Zork, boldly guarding its room. What this amounts to is just another job -- unlike some, with little paperwork or managerial interference, but with the occasional workplace hazard of adventurers periodically stumbling into your office (the lone room in which the game takes place) and trying to kill you. You'd be surprised -- those little pink fleshlings can give as good as they get more often than not! Mostly, however, rather than furious and random combat, the job instead consists of waiting through the long and tedious gaps between those brief and terrifying encounters.
