Battlestrike: The Road to Berlin
Description official description
Battlestrike: The Road to Berlin is a rail shooter where the player takes the role of an American soldier during World War II. In the 16 missions the player sits in various positions, e.g. as sniper or as a soldier, but practically this makes no difference. The player is stationary and is only able to move his view from left to right (depending on the mission between just a bit and 360°). His goal is to shoot everything hostile in sight. Rapid fire is not advised because eventually the gun overheats and needs a cool-down period. Red arrows show the position of enemies that are currently out of view.
An exception are the flight missions where the player has full control over his plane. With the mouse he directly controls its movements. The goal is still to kill everything.
