Mass Effect: Pinnacle Station
Description official descriptions
Pinnacle Station is the second downloadable content pack (DLC) released for Mass Effect. After achieving Spectre status, Commander Shepard can travel to Pinnacle Station, an asteroid training base used to test the Alliance's elite commandos. Upon arrival, Shepard must face a series of simulated challenges to beat the current leaders and earn some rare, top-class equipment.
Pinnacle Station is based around four combat challenges - Hunt, Time Trial, Survival, and Capture. Each has a "basic" mode in two different maps, and one "advanced" mode for each. A final, special challenge is unlocked for the last mission, giving a total of 13 challenges to complete. The player is actively scored based on the rules of each challenge, and their points displayed on a leaderboard inside the station.
There is a limited plot to follow inside the station, and a few new characters to meet, but generally the DLC consists entirely of the simulated combat challenges. Three new achievements are also added.
