1996 | Often called the "Net Duel patch", it added multiplayer (up to 9 players) capability using a LAN to Fighter Duel. |
1997 | An IPX network module was released, for the original Fighter Duel (v1.1 and later) to make it compatible with Fighter Duel Special Edition. |
1997 | 'update 3' revises Fighter Duel to version 1.1, and among many other changes adds 3 new fighter aircraft to fly: Mitsubishi A6M2, A6M3 and A6M8. |
