Looksley's Line Up
Description official description
Looksley's Line Up is a hidden object game with a difference - at the start of the game, players are prompted to take a photo of their face, and then the DSi Camera uses that to track the player's movement and tilting the DSi allows to look around, up and down inside a storybook diorama, helping the rabbit Looksley find hidden objects which form part of popular fairy tales and fables such as Thumbelina, Jack and the Beanstalk, The Emperor's New Clothes and so on.
Each level in Looksley's Line Up has two different goals. The first is to find all the letters that spell that level's word, for example EAR, YES, DONKEY etc. Players can tilt the scene to line up background elements so they form letters. Then using the D-pad to move the crosshair players can collect the letters. Find all letters to complete the word. Sometimes a letter can only be formed by waiting for certain events, like background characters holding up an arc to form a complete circle.
Once all the letters are found, the level is classed as complete, and players can progress to other levels. Players can now also use that word when talking to people in the world map, which may open up different paths. The second, more difficult goal, is to find all of the different objects which are part of the fables. These can be trickier to find, as the dioramas often move and sometimes the shapes may not be visible all the time. Players can also find "hint coins", which give a hint on where to find specific objects.
