Description

This side-scrolling fighting platformer is based on the Japanese anime series called Gekisō Sentai Carranger. Going through the stages you need to punch walls and decorative objects to find power-ups such as a sword that gives the ranger a weapon, which is soon lost after the first contact with the enemy.

No need to worry about choosing which Car Ranger, as each new stage, a new character can be chosen. During the game, you will collect the pieces of car. They are behind the blocks with the question mark or simply hidden in the scenery.

Also in the stages secret areas can be discovered, usually containing gears, power, energy bars or gun-charging items. Every 50 points of items, a cart is recovered; it is necessary to gather the five cars to generate the big robot and set off the boss with a single blow. If you do not get the carts you will not see the happy ending.

Trivia

Power Rangers

Footage of Gekisō Sentai Carranger, the Japanese TV series the game is based on, was re-used in Power Ranger Turbo (1997). Despite this, the game was never released in the US, probably because the new console Nintendo 64 was already established at that time.
