Description official description
Based on the well known game show of the same name. The basic idea behind the game is that you are given a choice of categories, each with an answer to a question behind the square. Your job is to figure out the question that corresponds to the given answer (for example, the answer is Star Wars. The question would be: George Lucas' Trilogy?, or something like that.)
There are over 3500 answers to find questions to, in different game types including Tournament, Speed Match and Single Round. And in every case, Alex Trebek (the host) is there to tell you if you are right or wrong.

A great recreation of the Jeopardy game show with a minor issue.
The Good
I found this at a thrift store and I want to try this out on my PlayStation 3 as it does support PlayStation 1 games on the firmware, and it works without any glitches! The game features a 3D recreation of the set from the game show Jeopardy, and features live-action FMV sequences of Alex Trebek, which is unusual to me compared to the PC version.
Questions feature all sorts of pop culture topics, and I found them (including the audio from the announcer Johnny Gilbert) good enough to fit on a single CD like this! What I really like the most is that the categories change every time you start a new game. That's really cool!
I do like the option to set up the game to your liking, such as changing the difficulty setting, adaptive AI, buzzer time and so on! And the Speed Match is really fun, because you can play with no opponents than a Normal Game, and it's really a good option if you're bored or don't have any people to compete with in a game of Jeopardy.
The Bad
Typing your answers in this version is more cumbersome than the PC's, you'll have to do it with a gamepad which takes a lot longer than using a keyboard. Setting the timer after you buzzed in to 90 seconds will let you take more time figuring it out!
The Bottom Line
Although it's cumbersome typing out the answers with a gamepad, Jeopardy on the PlayStation is a must have for those who like asking questions based on answers! I remember that my grandmother always watches Jeopardy on TV, and now I can play it on the big screen, like I'm really there!
Highly recommended for ages 14 and over, despite the ESRB Everyone rating on the packaging!
