In the Round

Moby ID: 61969

Description

In The Round is a single player solitaire card game that can be played with one or two decks of cards.

The object of the game is to transfer all the cards to the discard pile. The game starts with the deck of cards being placed face down in the centre of the play area. Around the deck are eight stations, each holding six cards with a card showing face up. In the centre the remaining cards in the deck are placed face down in between an empty station and the discard pile. Cards can be moved between stations and to the discard pile if it is numerically one higher or lower than the card that is showing so, for example an eight can be moved to a station that is showing either a nine or a seven. Aces can be moved to a station that is showing either a two or a king.

Points are scored for each card placed in the discard pile.

The game plays in a fixed size window, it has a high score table, in game help files, and two methods of scoring.
