Planetary Annihilation
Description
Planetary Annihilation is a large-scale real-time strategy game in which the player commands an army of robots across one or more planets. The game is the spiritual successor to Supreme Commander and Total Annihilation with developers from both games.
The focus of the game is on multiplayer, but it supports a skirmish mode where the player is pitted against AI-controlled opponents. The player can build an army on (or under) the water, on land, in the air, and even in orbit. Strategy include both battles and resource management. Battles can include up to ten players in free-for-all or playing as teams. There is a competitive one-on-one ladder where the player can compete against the best players in the game. The art style focuses on a low-poly 'boxy' look, and features various distinct biomes for each planet and procedurally generated content.
