The Ninuki-Renju game variant differs from standard Go Moku in that if a player's piece is places so that it sandwiches two opponent pieces with another of their pieces, the two opponent pieces are captured. A player can win the game either by placing five stones in a row or by capturing five pairs of their opponent's stones.
The game is mouse controlled, has optional music and sound effects plus an internet play option. The game plays in a window which changes size depending on the board being used. There is a save game feature and the game keeps track of the moves played and has the option to print these.
