Best tennis game for windows

The Good
There aren't many tennis games for the PC, and if there any there not nice. Except this one.

The graphics of the courts are nice. There are all based on the real-life courts. You can play on four different type of courts. In other tennis games you won't notice the difference between them. In this game it influence the speed of playing, on some courts it ball speed is higher (at the indoor courts for example) then on other courts. The animation of the players are realistic, and easy to control. The expressions are also great done by Microids. And the sounds are also very realistic, at the indoor courts in echos much more than outside and also how the ball bouncing sounds is different on each type of court.

The possibility of playing doubles with the computer is a great addition to this game. The AI of the computer-player is perfect, most of the times you can win sets, without hitting the ball and let the computer do all the work.

The Bad
After a while you have seen all the expression videos. And the gameplay is very repetitive. At easy mode you will learn fast enough to win, but with the hard mode it is very difficult to get even a single point. This will frustrates very much, and results in not playing any more. Another little minor is the fact that there aren't any real-life opponents to play against. The names are all fictive. In the beginning a disappointment, but later on you will get used to it.

The Bottom Line
If you looking for a tennis game, this is the one. It is also possible to define the complete look of the player, you can even use one of your own pictures. It also has a multiplayer option where you can play up to 4 players.
