A Pirate's Life Dizzy

A Pirate's Life Dizzy is a Dizzy fan game created by Colin Page, made with the Dizzy AGE engine. It won second place in the 2011 Dizzy AGE Easter Competition.

Dizzy is carrying a birthday present for his girlfriend Daisy, when he suddenly finds a strange dirty mirror. When he wipes it... a time-space portal opens, Dizzy is sucked into a vortex and sent back in time to 1758, to a world of sea pirates including some egg-people like himself who seem strangely similar to his family, such as Basil the ship's cook, pirate captain Maisy... He needs to find a way to send himself back to his own time and place.

The game can be loosely compared to the official game Fantastic Adventures of Dizzy (also known as Fantastic Dizzy) because it too includes sequences with a different kind of gameplay which could be called mini-games. Dizzy travels between different sections of the game world through different means: by walking through the underground caves, riding the mine cart (a sequence inspired by Fantastic Adventures of Dizzy) or with a boat along the river.
