Moby ID: 79518

Description

Arcade Chess is a chess game aimed mainly at beginners. It uses the GFK Chess Engine and has a limited feature set. The player can start as black or white and can play against another person or against the machine. The game has 3D graphics which means the board can be rotated and tilted via the arrow keys, it has five different 'game room environments', the AI player's strength can be adjusted, and there is in-game music.

There is no timing of player's moves, no importing or exporting a game, no move undo feature, and crucially there is no save/load game feature.
