Description
Yahtzee is one of the launch games of the downloadable XBLA version of Hasbro Family Game Night. It can only be played through Hasbro Family Game Night, which is offered as a free application. It is also included in the retail version of the game. Hosted by Hasbro's Mr. Potato Head, the game can be selected from a game room. The room can be browsed and holds trophies collected while playing. Each game comes with included hints. There are also different background themes to choose from.
Yahtzee is a game about rolling dice from a cup to form certain poker combinations to fill up a scorecard. There is a set of six dice that are rolled three times in a row. Certain dice can be banked to be reused later with another roll. A Yahtzee is when you roll five dice of the same number and player can influence the shake of the cup. The game supports multiplayer games for up to four players, locally or online.
