Brenden started in the games industry by taking a second job working part time on a Jakks Pacific project. He enjoyed it so much, he decided to go all in and make games his full-time career. He went on to become a lead programmer for a number of children’s Nintendo DS games, and had a short stint teaching the “History of Gaming and Game Production” at a local college. Later, he moved on to be the lead gameplay programmer for Sims 3 and Sims 3 Pets on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, before finally moving to the San Francisco area to join Loot Drop.

Prior to entering the games industry, Brenden worked as a system programmer coding, deploying, and maintaining live, distributed, and load-balanced email, web, and database servers.

Brenden has a Master of Science in Computer Science with a concentration in Networking from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Spare-time interests include coding, playing PC and console video games (RTSs, TBSs, RPGs, Brawlers, MMOs), and playing in local social sports leagues.
