Aubrey Hesselgren started in games designing and coding with the Quake II mods Matrix Quake 2 and Leper Quake 2. He created, but never released an abstract shooter called K.
He worked at Streamline Studios as Lead Game Designer on HoopWorld, as well as work on concept and design on various unannounced titles. He also worked at Amorphous/Pillowfort Games as Lead Game Designer on Goo!. Currently Aubrey Hesselgren works as Technical Game Designer at Splash Damage.
He released K2 as a public prototype for the TIGSource Procedural Generation competition. He is also in the "Dedications" section of BioShock's credits, because he knows Jean Paul LeBreton.
