Jack Nicklaus 4
Description official descriptions
This update to the Jack Nicklaus golf games was long awaited. The game allows to play 4 of Jack Nicklaus' designed courses (Muirfield Village Golf Club, Colleton River Plantation, Country Club of the South, and Cabo del Sol) and one course created especially for the game.
Green elevation must be judged precisely, and weather effects must be factored in, based on the visual evidence in front of the player. Two levels of swing power can be applied.
It has a complete course designer (in fact, the same one that the game developers used) that gives the user the capability to create any number of courses on their own. Courses from Jack Nicklaus Signature Edition, including user-designed ones, can be loaded into the game. User created courses are available on the Internet.

Trivia
Advertisement
Accolade chose an unusual way of advertising: In Computer Gaming World issue #157 (August 1997) the ad consisted of a reprint of CGW's 5-star review from issue #155. The only change is a red bar at the top which informs the reader that this is a paid advertisement and the review is a legit reprint.
