Added description to Caverns of Callisto · June 10, 2008

This is a fast paced arcade shooter, in which you fly on your jet-pack through the maze-like caverns, avoiding all the aliens and attempting to find your missing ship parts. Your jet-pack has a limited amount of fuel which must also be collected on your way around. You are equipped with a unlimited ammo gun which kills all aliens in one hit, but this overheats if used too much, leaving you temporarily defenceless.

The game is divided into 5 sections each of which contains 8 missing panels, and either a key to get to the next level or the missing ion drive.

Added description to Ring Quest · February 16, 2006

This is a fantasy text based adventure game which also has pictures of most of the locations. It contains about 100 locations and 80 illustrations.

The Ring of Chaos has enslaved the noble sorceress, Lisa, and all space-time is threatened by its destructive influence. As bearer of the Ring of Order, your mission is to free Lisa before reality is disrupted beyond retrieval.

Ring Quest is the nominal sequel of The Quest. Ring Quest returns you to the magical land of Balema, accompanied once more by Gorn, your water-swilling strong-arm. Far to the north is your ultimate goal, the sorceress's mountain citadel. As though its shield of green lightning were not adequate, you soon encounter other obstacles, including trolls, manticores, amorous ogresses, and greedy seers.

Good mapping is amply rewarded in this adventure, where Lisa is liable to pop in at any moment to cast a teleport spell, bewitch Gorn into confusion, which can be hard to detect, or dry up your water supply.

The final days of the year 1999 are approaching. Buster Everman is an accountant at Dharke Electronics, a company that specializes in robotics and AI technology. Now the Dharke Mansion is for sale, and Buster decides to buy it, after having unexpectedly won the lottery.

Buster and his girlfriend Candace arrive at the mansion, where they want to spend the New Year eve. There is just one tiny problem with the sophisticated computerized system of the mansion - it is bound to do unpredictable things at the turn of the millennium. When the clock strikes midnight at the start of the year 2000, things start to go wrong. Buster is unable to leave the house, and his girlfriend has disappeared. Now he has to deal with the treacherous devices of the mansion, rescue his beloved one, and fix the system.

Y2K: The Game is a third-person point-and-click adventure game. Locations are viewed from fixed camera positions, similarly to Alone in the Dark games. Most of the puzzles in the game are dedicated to fixing various computerized devices or figuring out the way to access locked rooms and safes.

Added description to The Feeble Files · August 17, 2000

This is a humorous point and click adventure game from the creator of the Simon the Sorcerer series of games. He lives in a world controlled by the Omni-Brain, which aims to keep everybody happy and successful. As such, unhappy people are killed, and over a million laws exist.

Feeble works for the Ministry of Galactic Uncertainty's crop-circle division, which involves creating crop circles on less advanced planets than his own, as a way to cause panic on those planets and stifle their intellectual development.

As Feeble, your goal is to overthrow this system. Devious behaviour is required to achieve this. Over 5000 lines of spoken dialogue are included, as well as 80 locations.

Added description to Lombard RAC Rally · August 13, 2000

This is a driving simulation in which the player gets to drive all the stages in the Lombard RAC Rally. The game includes day and night stages, along with different weather conditions such as fog and snow. There is also a workshop option where the car can be repaired or tweaked to get a bit of extra speed. The game's main innovation is that the screen display is from behind the front seats - the driver can be seen adjusting the steering wheel and gearstick, and the co-driver holds a map which changes colour as the track is covered.

Added description to Clandestiny · August 12, 2000

Added description to Wings of Glory · August 12, 2000

The year is 1916, the dawn of the first World War. New pilots are being trained in use of the airplane, a still relatively new flying invention that may yet have some military value. Certainly the German army is using them, and therefore it's up to the British to respond. Stationed in a small airfield in the town of Thetford, England, a small group of pilots have been transfered from the allied countries to form a squadron and fight against German forces

Wings of Glory is one of the relatively few World War 1 flight simulators. It is played in 1st person, with 3rd person camera options and uses Origin's RealSpace Engine. In the main campaign, players start as a fresh rookie pilot, newly transfered to England. Players can have conversations with other pilots, check the kill board for the entire squadron or commence the next mission. Missions begin with a briefing explaining the objectives and then players are put in the front seat of their aircraft. They must take off, reach the appropriate waypoints, perform the objective and return home to land. All planes have a machine gun, of varying capacities , which fires in front of the plane. Some planes are also able to carry bombs. There is no radar or other detection method on the planes, so players must be alert to oncoming enemies.

In addition to the usual campaign mode it also featured a "Gauntlet mode" where the player faces a never-ending wave of successive waves of enemy aircraft. The goal of Gauntlet mode is simply to last as long as possible. The game also features a mission designer to create custom scenarios.

Added description to Bad Blood · August 4, 2000

A nuclear war has turned the world into a wasteland. The pure-blooded humans have retreated in large cities while mutants live in small villages on the plains where they make a living by hunting the many monsters. Now one of the human leaders, Lord Dominix, wants to start a war to wipe out all the "bad-blooded" mutants. Your village chief has assigned you with the task of preventing this war.

Bad Blood is a top-down action game with light role-playing elements. You can not create your own character but have to pick one of the three predefined ones: Varrigg (a strong green mutant who fights with his bare hands), Dekker (a human male armed with a knife) or Jakka (she looks human but can shoot laser beams from her eyes like Cyclops of X-Men fame). The choice you make has only a limited impact on gameplay and storyline.

Gameplay consists of exploring the world map, visiting several cities and villages, talking with NPCs, picking up items and new weapons (like shotguns, grenades, Uzis etc.) and lots of real-time combat. Bad Blood lacks character stats and character development. The game has a day-night cycle which influences the amount of monsters on the plains and whether or not you can talk with some NPCs.

Added description to Pacific Strike: Speech Pack · August 4, 2000

This add-on pack for Pacific Strike adds speech to the inflight communications.

Added description to Pacific Strike · August 4, 2000

This is a flight simulator which uses a slightly modified version of the RealSpace engine from Strike Commander. You play a World War 2 pilot and get to fly in various historic missions such as dogfights, bombing runs and missile attacks, many of which are based on real battles. The US and Japanese planes of the time, and their weapons, are brought to life.

One thing that makes Pacific Strike unique is that rather than a simple retelling of historical battles, the course of World War II is affected by the player. Failing to destroy particular targets will ensure that they remain problems in future missions, and doing extremely well will allow the allies to be more successful. Thus regardless of the actual course of the war, events unfold. For this reason it's possible to end the war prematurely before Hiroshima was bombed or end up in a situation where American forces surrender to the Japanese.

Added description to Creature Shock · August 4, 2000

The earth is overpopulated and mankind must find a second home. The spaceship Amazon is sent to investigate Saturn and Jupiter for possible colonization. Near the end of its mission, all contact is lost with the ship except for a distress beacon. The player is part of the crew sent to the Amazon's last known location to find out what happened.

Creature Shock is a first-person shooter with Full Motion Video and arcade-like elements. Aliens of all sizes and types will try to destroy the team, but each one has a weak point that can be exploited. The fighting takes place on the surface of asteroids and within mazes of passageways underground.

There are also two 3D sections where the player gets to pilot the ship.

The sun is about to go supernova and humanity must find a new home. All the population is packed into a huge fleet of ships and they set off for a suitable planet. Unfortunately the route goes straight through the territory of a hostile alien race, the Rexxons.

The game is a space shooter but you also get surface missions on different planets. The main emphasis on the game is the graphics which were excellent when the game was released but this meant that the game was very short with just 9 levels. There are loads of cutscenes all with music from Holst's planet suite.
